Projects
These are some of my favorite projects I’ve worked on over the past three to four years. A couple remain unfinished because I have plans to expand on them — some tracks, for instance, are intended to feature vocals later on.
Ancient Land, Living Waters: Original Soundtrack
A 12-track original score I composed over six months (January–June), built from real field recordings captured in Palau and a felted piano I recorded for a more natural and intimate sound. The soundtrack leans toward an acoustic, organic style rather than electronic, emphasizing authenticity and connection to the island’s atmosphere and culture.

Description: A mini lo-fi/R&B project built from sampled vocals and loops, creating a mellow, late-night atmosphere that reflects loneliness and introspection.

Description: Made in the summer before my junior year, this track was inspired by Charlie Puth’s melodic and polished pop style: a small creative escape between SAT prep sessions. I plan to feature vocals on it in the future.

Description: My latest major project, inspired by the botanica genre, track combining field recordings, felt piano, and digital textures for an organic yet cyber-like feel. It’s also my most technically refined work in terms of sound design and mixing yet.

Description: My final major project for 10th grade Music Production & Technology, inspired by INZO’s Overthinker (hence the name Underthinker). This marked my first real exploration into detailed synth design and automation, which are both core components of future bass.

Description: A laid-back nu jazz track blending modal jazz harmonies with modern electronic influences like funk, soul, and hip-hop. Cats in Black references both jazz “cats” and the effortless coolness of Men in Black.
